Golf, tennis, hockey and baseball all have the same positioning in the way you hold the club, racquet, stick or bat -- only the angles are different.
It’s All in the Way You Hold the Club
Whether your sport of choice is golf, tennis, hockey and baseball, you may be intrigued to find that they all utilize the same posture and positioning to hold the club, racquet, stick and bat. A slight adjustment in your posture, grip or angle of the racquet can result in significant improvements in your overall performance in the sport.
At Atlanta Spine & Sport, we have been trained in an established methodology for helping professional and amateur athletes improve their overall performance in their preferred sport. Starting with your posture and working all the way through your swing, we’re helping athletes increase their club speed and improve the power of their stroke.

More powerful than any new piece of equipment you can buy, our corrective program makes use of the equipment you already have – your body – to improve your overall performance in and enjoyment of the sport.
This is not a one-shot wonder but an 8-10 week program that develops then utilizes your understanding of biomechanics to help you perform better and cause fewer injuries to your body. Through clinical identification of muscular, skeletal, ligamentous and capsular aberrations, we can address and alleviate obstacles to performance.
Evaluations begin with a static, dynamic and neuromuscular assessment then progress to prescribe adjustments and homework that will help restore a “normal” swing and positive posture.
Die-hard athletes with chronic pain will be pleased to find that the same training and retraining that will improve your performance will help alleviate the aches and pains you currently experience during and after play. Make an appointment to learn more about our program.
